Driving Schools For Women Drivers

In recent years there has been an upsurge in the number of female driving instructors joining 'female only' driving schools. This trend has supposed benefits for both the instructors themselves and also the pupils who are requiring women driver trainers.

There are a number of reasons that these type of driving lessons. There can simply be personal preferences, religious reasons and among other reasons, just feeling more comfortable as a women, being taught by a woman.

There is a general trand where women driving instructors are in greater demand than males. This is generally because people are likely to either have no preference or prefer to be taught by a female. The percentage of female instructors is also extremely low compared to the number of men doing the job.

I am currently not aware of any significant difference between the pass rates of female driving instructors compared to males. I am sure that this type of statistic will surface in the future and cause a whole new debate on the issue.

A potential negetive for the driving instructors with the female only driving schools is that they are limiting their market potential. After all, is a 17 year old boy looking for driving schools Harrow really going to learn to drive in a pink car, or a car with hearts all over it, or a very un-masculine sounding driving school?

Why?: When I saw the name, I loved it! Girliness with a little bit of bite! I am not pro 'women rule', but I am pro equality. Equality does of course not mean the same role, but certainly means the same value!
