Car Insurance For Women Drivers
Car insurance is a legal requirement in England. To not have insurance can be a much more costly risk than simply buying it in the first place. So therefore finding cheap car insurance can be a welcome surprise.
Now companies like diamond.co.uk or sheilaswheels.com offer a women only car insurance deals. With women reportedly being the better drivers, one would hope that they are able to provide better prices than the more general quotes.
But do women really make the best drivers? Has the age old arguement been settled at last?
I wonder if there has always been debate about whether men or women are better at driving cars, driving horses, running, walking? I do not know, but I guess there probably has.
I have heard that the statistics which support the fact that women make the better drivers has not come from driving instructors teaching women on driving lessons, but rather from the insurance companies themselves. Statistically, women make less insurance claims than men. If the delving stopped there, it sounds great for the girls, but the story goes further.
Where the following information comes from, I do not know. But seemingly women do actually have more collisions that men, but the collisions are generally less serious than men. Those, more numerous accidents are not always reported due to the subsequential rise in no claims bonus. I am not sure if the accidents that are claimed for amount to more in financial terms than the male drivers.
